Reconnect to Soul through Rites of Passage

Exactly twenty years ago, during my first vision quest along the breathtaking coastline of Vancouver Island in the Pacific Northwest, the profound depth and support inherent in this rite of passage was illuminated to me. A vision quest is one example of an ancient practice rooted in earth-honouring cultures that serves as a poignant marker of life’s transitions and milestones. Indeed I had left my life in Toronto behind and was heading to Thailand without much clarity on what was to come, but courageously heeding the call of my soul. This sacred journey, literally a stepping stone on my travels, presented itself serendipitously and would lay a foundation for the years to come.

Slow down and Savour

In this note today, I’d like to invite you to embrace a slowing down and to play with savouring each word, each image, and each breath as you notice what it invokes in you. For in these moments of intentional presence, we might discover the true richness that is available when we stop and notice.

What is Soul Work?

We are all traversing a journey of the soul, a profound exploration that calls for a deeper understanding. Soul work entails slowing down to attune to the rhythm of your deeper essence—your soul. Unlike the mind, the soul moves at its own unique pace, encompassing so much more than mere thoughts.

Exploring the Overlap of Yoga Nidra & Plant Medicine

My journey with Yoga Nidra began nearly two decades ago, and although I might have dozed off during my initial encounter, it sparked a profound fascination that eventually led me to delve deep into this transformative practice. As the years passed, I immersed myself in the study of Yoga Nidra with a number of the main schools and methods. Parallel to my explorations with Yoga Nidra, I felt drawn to the world of entheogenic plant medicines recognizing a profound connection between these seemingly different paths of healing.

Illuminating your Path with Yoga Nidra through the Power of Prana

Illuminating your Path with Yoga Nidra

The power of Yoga Nidra never ceases to amaze me. Just moments ago, I emerged from a deep state of relaxation, feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the experience. Today, it began when I sat down at my computer, ready to dive into work, but a wave of tiredness washed over me. Instead of pushing through and forcing productivity, I decided to honor the needs of my body, which was expressing a clear message.

How standing at a crossroads can inspire new ways of BEing

Two decades ago, I stood in a Toronto IKEA parking lot with a cart full of brand-new household items as I began to realise a deeper voice was about to surface. I felt a weight on my chest and the welling up of tears behind my eyes, not knowing what was coming over me, especially since I had just been gifted a variety of brand new stylish household items. Visiting from Switzerland, my mom and I loaded the stuff into my car and proceeded to drive down the busy highway. Not knowing what I was feeling but bursting into tears, it hit me that I didn’t really want any of this stuff nor what it stood for. Through my tears, I uttered, “I don’t want any of this stuff!”. Encouraged by my mom’s questions, “Well, what is it you DO want??”, I heard myself sob, “I want to go back to Thailand!”

We all need support: The Importance of mentoring

Personalised Soul Coaching

Dear Soul Journeyers,

I invite you to make a cup of tea, take 3 deep breaths to settle your nervous system and take a little break from your day to read this.

As we approach the solstice and come to the midway point of 2021 (how did that happen?!) we are invited into a time for reflection of the year so far. Perhaps we bring attention to where we’ve been and where we may be heading. If you’re like me, I’m considering where there’s a need for more support and calling it in.

I’d like to share some of my own reflections with you about how mentors and guides have supported my own path and also present ways I can help you attune to the deeper currents at play in your life.
