What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is a deep meditation practice in which you’re guided from wakefulness into dream-time, through deep restorative rest and beyond. The practice of yogic sleep is referred to as “mindfulness on steroids” as you are led into a state of supreme relaxation, where deep healing and realignment occurs. Yoga Nidra is a radical form of rest and somatic release. One practice of Yoga Nidra is said to be equivalent to 3 hours of sleep.
