During this training you will learn the history, theory, structure, and practice of Yoga Nidra, as well as the tools and techniques required to confidently create and deliver your own original guided meditations.
Hosted in a brand new luxury, perma-culture retreat centre tucked away in the heart of Bali’s luscious, tropical countryside, we will take an experiential and non-linear approach to learning. This training can be taken by anyone as a stand alone module without the need for any previous qualifications. A Somah Journey’s Yoga Nidra Facilitator certificate will be awarded at the completion of the module.
For yoga teachers the Yoga Nidra TTC can be taken as 1 of 3 modules for those wishing to complete a 300 hour advanced yoga teacher training with Somah Journeys. A previous 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certification is required for this option.
Somah Journeys offers an advanced 300 hour yoga teacher training program of your own design. By deepening your practice in 3 specialised areas through our range of 100 hour modules, in collaboration with Tina Nance Yoga Therapy (TNYT), you can create your own advanced Yoga Alliance approved TTC.

In our exclusive perma-culture retreat centre nestled in the Balinese countryside we will start our days off with a morning practice of asana, breathwork meditation and of course yoga nidra.
We will be served an organic chef prepared breakfasts, lunches and dinners, grown on the grounds for full pranic restoration in between diving in to the practices, theory and magic behind this ancient meditation practice.
We want our students to experience the full depths of the practice from its therapeutic purposes and deep restfullness and awareness to its potential for potent spiritual awakening so you can expect plenty of guided yoga nidras from across a range of different schools and styles and be bathed in sound and song healing as well as plenty of self quietude and reflection time.
Our brand new retreat centre is located in the stunning Balinese countryside. Although there is a shop on site please be advised to try and bring everything that you need with you.
As the retreat centre is based on an organic ayurvedic farm they request that all guests only use natural products and toiletries
Transportation: We are approximately a 1 hour drive from Ubud centre
On arrival day a group pick up can be arranged through the retreat centre from the airport that morning and Ubud centre at lunch time.

SPECIAL GUEST TEACHERS
Founder of Essential Nature Yoga, Irish nomad and Celtic Yogini Emma Lowe facilitates Yoga and Yoga Nidra practices which merge yoga and nature based wisdom. She has been Communications and Creative Director and assistant facilitator with Somah Journeys since 2018.
With a background in creative and performing arts, Emma engages music, song, folklore and story telling for the purpose of personal and cultural healing in her offerings. She is also a poetic writer, photographer and painter. Since childhood Emma has been engaged in using these mediums for the purpose of peace and reconciliation through various cross community projects in Ireland.
Similarly, Emma sees yoga as a vehicle for personal and social change and is passionate about practices that support women’s health including her popular Yoni Nidras.
Emma’s work is informed by native plant medicines of the Amazon basin, and has received medicine songs and red road teachings during her time in South America, which inspired her to study and share her own ancestral roots through Celtic Shamanism, spirituality and Celtic Medicine wheel teachings.
